It all started when I was randomly browsing the Facebook marketplace and an ad for mid century dining chairs popped up. I needed chairs for a little table I had been working on so I thought to myself, “$40 bucks for 4 chairs? Why not?”

I went ahead and cleaned them up and changed the fabric.

I loved how they turned out, except there was one problem, they didn’t end up working out in the space that I purchased them for. I thought about reselling for a profit, but then I realized that they would look great in my dining room. So there they went along with a few other minor changes. If you want to read about how my dining room evolved click here. You’ll have to forgive the pictures, this room is the worse lighted room in the house.

I’m loving this dipped wall hanging that my daughter made. She has her own Etsy Shop too.

I’m kind of loving the new chairs. My dining room is the first room you see when you walk into my house so the bigger the mid-century vibe the better for me.
